As the year draws to a close and the festive season approaches, I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your continued support and investment in our journey.
As a result of your confidence in us, our investor community, the fund, and the business have continued to grow and flourish.
I would like to present to you a summary that showcases the impact of your invaluable support on our progress and achievements in 2023.
Our key achievements in 2023:
- Our funds under management have increased by 64.7% this calendar year
- The number of investors in our community has more than doubled in 2023
- More than a third of our investors have increased their investment over the course of the year.
We have also achieved 100% success rate on loans being repaid in full since inception.

Our commitment to diligence and diversification has resulted in:
- Capspace attracting high-quality loans
- Increased investor rates by introducing a variable benchmark of BBSW + 5%
- Credit standard maintenance: We’ve upheld our credit standard
- Security: The fund remains secure with brick-and-mortar assets.
Performance Property Report:
Our recent independent property portfolio report reaffirms our commitment to safeguarding investor capital. A majority of the property security we hold is Sydney residential property which on average has increased by over 10% this year, hence improving our security position.
Team growth:
Our team has expanded with top-tier talent joining our ranks, reinforcing Capspace’s reputation in the finance world.
Future direction:
As we look ahead to 2024, exciting plans are underway to strategically expand our business while remaining dedicated to our valued clients.
Community initiatives:
In the past year, Capspace has been actively involved in community projects, including:
- Partnering with author and child protection advocate, Melanie Jai, to distribute her children’s book, “Little Lionheart,” advocating for children experiencing abuse
- Collaborating with Abbotsford Juniors Football Club on a 3-year partnership for community football initiatives
- Founding the Most Important Meal project, ensuring kids in need receive a nutritious breakfast. Scroll down to find out more about the project and see how you can get involved.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to the many investors who have referred others to join our investor community. We are proud to say that 1 in 3 investors has referred a friend, colleague, or family member. Sam joins us as our Distribution Manager, and we welcome him to the team. He is a seasoned financial advisory expert with over 20 years of experience in wealth management, private markets, and alternative investments.

Our mission to feed Aussie kids the most important meal of the day
As part of our ongoing commitment to serving our community, we founded the Most Important Meal project with Living Hope Missions to provide kids who often go without, with the most important meal of the day - breakfast.
Through generous donations from our partners and volunteers, we are able to make regular deliveries of food and other essential items to schools within Sydney.
